Auto EthnographyAs a junior student in Jordan, I happened to be in a junior school team. The school hastwo teams one for the girls the other one that I belonged to was for the boys. The school wasinvolved in several competitions including the junior championship. Junior championship wasfor the boys and girls. We had been training really hard for the junior competition, and webelieved we were strong enough to participate competitively in the championship. It was a betterfeeling though the girls teams were also well equipped to the challenge.The girls team trained day and evening, mentally and physically to undertake the tasksthat were ahead of them. As the boys team, we felt jubilant to be involved in the juniorchampionship since the school administration believed in us. On the other hand, the girls teamwas preparing every day and were never recognized and identified as competitive enough to beinvolved in the competition. Therefore, the championship was highly regarded as the boyscompetition.
