Activity 1: Deciding on a Project
Students work in teams, arranged by their initial project suggestions and interests to decide on a project that will be completed throughout the course.
Decide on a team identification and make a name plate for the group with all the names of the team members.
Decide on a project that is viable and can be completed in 8 weeks.
Describe the project, the stakeholders, and what the project will produce.
Present the project idea and description to the instructor for approval.
Activity 2:
Decide on the members roles as part of the project
management team.You will need to draw on what you learned
during the task and can use the following resources to first
discuss within the team the various roles and responsibilities of
members. Discuss each person's strengths that can add to the team's
success.

Activity 3: Software for Project Management
There are many options for project management software on the market that can help initiate, plan, and carry out a project efficiently.
As a team research various project management software. Look for the strengths and weaknesses of each.
Then each member of the team should download MS Project. This is available for free to students through the university. Your instructor will give you directions for accessing the software.
Then begin to investigate the software as a team and put in as much initial information as you can.
