The purpose of this assignment is to help you start thinking about the kinds of internships you want to have and the process it will take to get them.

Search for two internship opportunities that you would be interested in doing. You will write a report answering the following:

• What are the two internship opportunities you found? What's the company, the job, and the responsibilities of the job?
• Why did you choose these internships? What about them interests you?
• What additional skills (that you do not currently have) do you need before you apply? How would you gain these skills?
• Is there any further information you need before you apply? How would you gain this information?
• If you decide to do an internship, when do you think would be a good time to do one? Summer? Fall? Spring? Why then?
  • What are the next steps for you to get these internships? Think about the application process (resume, cover letter, networking, etc.) and the interview process (how to interview, what to wear, etc.)
• If you don't plan to do an internship, what are your plans for gaining the job experiences employers are looking for?
