For your multi-modal composition*, transform some aspect of your writing and/or research into a stand-alone composition such as an Internet meme (or technically “ image macro”), infographic, or other original combintation of words and visuals.

*Multimodal compositions, as defined by Selfe and Takayoshi (2007), are “texts that exceed the alphabetic and may include still and moving images, animations, color, words, music and sound.” For our purposes, multimodal compositions must include written language and a visual component.
